Established in 2003, Lym Architecture provides architecture, planning, and interior design services with a focus on institutional clients. Our extensive experience with regional and statewide clients includes working with a broad range of facilities and capital planning departments. We have earned a highly-esteemed reputation working on more than 500 projects, sharpening our value-based delivery in traditional architectural services, and participating in over 130 million of square feet of facility assessments and feasibility studies.Lym Architecture provides local and regional planning services, whose partners have participated in over 130 million of square feet of facility assessments and feasibility studies for adaptive reuse, redevelopment and alternative options. We have worked on more than 100 institutional campuses including health care, university, and state and local governments over the past 10 years. Their clients receive a return on their investment not typically afforded from a traditional architectural firm.
Lym Architecture has worked extensively with the Austin Independent School District's Department of Construction Management and completed renovation projects at several local campuses. We have completed over 20 planning, programming, feasibility, renovation, remodeling and expansion projects that impact over 15 different academic and support buildings on the UT Austin campus. In addition to our recently completed campus renovation projects, other examples of current and past work include the LEED Platinum $9.5M Ronald McDonald House Charities at Austin’s Dell Children’s Hospital completed in 2008, programming and design for a $2.5M University of Texas Sanger Learning and Career Center Expansion that is currently seeking development funds, and a $1.85M Violet Crown downtown theater project in the core of downtown Austin.

Bryan brings to our projects over 15 years of experience in the building industry with a background that includes construction, engineering, and architecture. His history with large national construction and A/E firms prior to founding Lym Architecture rounds a professional career with widely-varied experience including involvement in award-winning projects. Project types include urban design and regional planning, institutional infrastructure and facility assessment, feasibility and accessibility studies, hazardous material remediation, interior design, and architectural design. His experience includes civic, corporate, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and institutional projects with budgets ranging up to 62 million dollars. His focus and attention to detail during all project phases – assessment, due-diligence, and design through construction documentation and administration – has allowed Lym Architecture to maintain respected relationships with regional healthcare and educational clients that include The University of Texas at Austin, Austin Community College, and the Austin independent School District.

Eric has more than 15 years serving institutional clients as a project director, planner, and designer. He has excelled in these roles with his attention to detail and consistent client-focused service. His commitment to the quality of architecture and team approach is proven by his projects successfully meeting budget, schedule, and quality expectations. His experience includes directing multidisciplinary teams in the assessment of over 75 million square feet of physical assets and the associated feasibility, mitigation, and scope alignment studies to help shape clients’ short and long term goals. Eric has also directed the visioning for dozens of Texas and national institutional master planning and facility design projects. He has worked on hundreds of projects focusing client goals in the adaptive re-use of existing assets and infrastructure as well as providing planning and design of new facilities. Additionally his experience includes urban design and regional planning, hazardous material remediation, interior design, and architectural design. Eric joined Lym Architecture as a Principal in 2013 to dedicate himself to practice in and around his long term home of Austin, Texas.
